Meme: An Album For Every Year of Your Life, Part 1

I stole this idea from my favorite website. Simple: pick your favorite album (or what would have been your favorite, had you been of age) from every year of your life. Since this will encompass some 39 albums, I'm breaking it up into two posts. Here goes:

 Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bayou Country

 Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin III

The Allman Brothers Band, At Fillmore East

 Big Star, #1 Record

Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of The Moon

Bob Marley and the Wailers, Natty Dread

Queen, A Night at The Opera

 Boston, Boston

TIE: Bob Marley and the Wailers, Exodus and John Williams conducting the London Symphony Orchestra, Star Wars: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (double album! With a free poster!)

Steve Miller Band, Greatest Hits 1974 - 1978

 Pink Floyd, The Wall

The Police, Zenyatta Mondatta (and here we start getting into the music that I actually listened to at the time...)

 Rush, Moving Pictures

 Asia, Asia

 The Police, Synchronicity

 Van Halen, 1984

 R.E.M., Fables of The Reconstruction

 Beastie Boys, Licensed to Ill

 U2, The Joshua Tree

 Fishbone, Truth and Soul

The Replacements, Don't Tell A Soul

Soul Asylum, And The Horse They Rode In On

(Back tomorrow with the Nineties up to the present...feel free to play along on your own blogs, consider yourselves tagged if you read this.)
